U.I. Covered Employment & Wages (QCEW)
Annual & Quarterly Averages
NAICS based
U.I. Covered Employment and Wages is a product of the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program, previously know as ES-202, in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Industry data is based on the North American Industry Coding System (NAICS) and is fundamentally different from the Standard Industrial Coding (SIC) system used previously. Do not link employment data published previously 2:55 PM 7/6/2018 under the SIC system with current employment that is based on NAICS. SIC based data has been removed from this site.
For definitions of terms and how to use and interpret this information, refer to QCEW Glossary. More information is available at U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics about NAICS or QCEW.
